The key sample bitting is decoded through an innovative artificial vision system in less than 1 second. The key to be decoded is installed in a clamp with a single fixing device.

The sealed machining working site prevents chips from being projected both outside the unit or through any of the mechanical parts of the machine. Chips can be easily disposed off as they are collected in a pull-out tray.
The decoded image is processed through the following functions:
- automatic disregarding of impurities on the key (dirt, burrs, dents);
- automatic compensation for worn out or deformed bitting;
- functions to be selected by the user to convert bitting, restore broken teeth, adjust the depth of the two independent bits or of an individual tooth;
- automatic identification of mechanical reference features for each key category: single or double bit key, front stop, collar stop, stem diameter before and after the bit, stem axis, contact surfaces;
- the image of the key sample can be saved and stored at operators’ choice.
With supplementary clamps the machine can be quickly set up to cut a wide range of keys. The unit has been designed to be easily implemented and upgraded with any additional tool necessary for specific markets.
Multiple user/machine interfaces make Bianchi 993 POWER LYNX easy to connect to peripherals, commercial software and hardware units (PC, Modem, Internet connectivity for SW and machine database updating, remote machine servicing etc.). This paves the way for a variety of futuristic innovations.
STANDARD CLAMP
The standard clamp consists of two self-centering jaws for the independent seizing of the stem in the front and back of the bit. Even FIAM type keys with mixed round/square section stems can be firmly secured.
Stem diameter range: min. 3,5 mm max. 7,5 mm (for male keys).
Hole diameter range: min. 2,5 mm max. 4,5 mm (for female keys) centering devices available on request.
Training: +/- 30° (for single bit cutting and automatic definition of bit radius).
Max. bit size: L = 32 mm / H tot. = 40 mm (double bit)
